The 66th UPNVJ Graduation, the Rector Advised: Be the Best and Ethical Person in Society

HumasUPNVJ - In the midst of a pandemic, UPN Veteran Jakarta is again holding online graduation. The 66th graduation inaugurated 880 graduates, with details of 27 Diploma Three graduates, 725 Bachelor graduates, 77 Masters graduates, and 51 Professional graduates. Until now, UPNVJ has produced 55 thousand graduates consisting of diploma, bachelor and master levels

This year's graduation, with the theme "Through the MBKM Program, Producing Excellent and Moral Human Resources". In this case, the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Dr. Erna Hernawati., Ak., CPMA., CA said that since 2020, UPNVJ has started preparing and implementing the latest curriculum policy that was carried out by the Mas Minister, namely the MBKM Curriculum (Freedom Learning Campus Merdeka) which aims to encourage students to master various knowledge that is useful for enter the world of work.

"To support the MBKM curriculum program provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, UPNVJ has implemented programs such as: Indonesian Homeland Student Exchange Credit Transfer System with Information Technology (PERMATA SAKTI), Online Student Exchange Program (PERMATA SARI), Lecturer Exchange Program between UPN Jakarta Veterans, UPNVJ collaborates with Nara Creative and BenihBaik.com through the AMATI (Indonesian Productive Student Action) program, and the Certified Student Internship Program (PMMB) formed by Nawa Cita President, SOE Synergy and the Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI) "explained the Chancellor .

On this occasion the Chancellor of UPNVJ mentioned some bad news regarding what has happened recently, starting from the corruption of the Covid-19 social assistance fund and the Microsoft Office publication statement which shows Indonesia as the most disrespectful country in social media which is ranked 29 out of 32 country.

The Chancellor really hopes that UPNVJ alumni will not do this. He hopes that ethics and norms are still fully embedded by UPNVJ graduates.

"Because when there are UPNVJ students or alumni who are part of it, then it is our failure as educators who are unable to carry out the mandate of the National Education Standards Law," he said.

The Chancellor again advised to be graduates who can contribute well to social life, be the best yourself according to your version and personal characteristics.

“Entrust the good name of your alma mater, the good name of your parents and family in one way, namely fearing God Almighty, God who never sleeps, and a time when we will bring nothing but good deeds. The journey you are facing, in the future will not be the same. Success and failure will always side by side, but we must be able to interpret this failure as the beginning of delayed success, so that we don't give up easily and continue to pursue our goals until they are achieved, "concluded the chancellor.
