In preparation for the formation of a Doctoral Program in Law, the Faculty of Law carried out the preparation of the Doctoral Program in Law. Preparation of forms and preparation for the formation of the Doctoral Program which took place at the Aston Hotel Jl Simatupang, South Jakarta (15/03/2021).

Even though the event was held offline (face to face), it still complied with the health protocol. In his opening, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Abdul Halim, M.Ag. conveyed that the formation of the Doctoral Program in Law was a joint commitment of the Faculty of Law and the Chancellor, in the context of the development and advancement of UPNVJ.

In addition, the head of the preparatory team for the formation of the Doctoral Program in Law, Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SH, MH, stressed that the team forming the Doctoral Program should support each other and have a sense of togetherness so that the team can work optimally.

The event which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Deputy Deans I, II, III and the team for the formation of the Doctoral Program in Law also presented speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Agus Surono, SH, MH Professor of FH at Al Azhar University Indonesia.

In his presentation, Prof. Agus Surono, SH, MH emphasized that several things had to be prepared in the preparation of the Doctor of Law form including criteria 1 curriculum, criteria 2 Lecturers, criterion 3 Study Program Management Unit.

"All of these criteria must be completed referring to PERMENDIKBUD Number 3 of 2020 and PERMENDIKBUD No. 7 of 2020, to then be submitted in the Higher Education Institutional Licensing Service Information System (silemkerma.kemendikbud.go.id)," said Prof. Agus.

With this initial briefing, it is hoped that in the future team members will be able to understand the desired tasks and targets in accordance with the expected deadline.
