Prohibition of Homecoming and Eid al-Fitr 1442 H Holidays for Lecturers and Education Staff in Prevention of Covid-19 Transmission

In connection with the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, Minister of Manpower and MenpanRB RI Number 281, 1 and 1 of 2021 dated 22 February 2021 concerning Changes to National Holidays and Joint Leave for 2021, it is necessary to establish the following policies and provisions;

  1. Lecturers and Education Staff are prohibited from traveling outside the area and/or going home as stipulated by the Government;
  2. If in a state of necessity and need to travel outside the area, it is obligatory to obtain permission from the staffing supervisor/chancellor;
  3. Joint Leave and Eid Al-Fitr 1442 H Holidays according to Government Decree determined on 12 to 16 May 2021 ;
  4. Re-enter as usual on Monday, May 17, 2021 for Lecturers with additional assignments and Education Staff, and for Lecturers/Educators to continue carrying out the learning process through PJJ;
  5. Not allowed to take leave while the Covid-19 Public Health Emergency Stipulation is in effect;
  6. Provisions in point 5 do not apply to Maternity Leave and/or Sick Leave.
  7. Leave due to Important Reasons as stated in point 6 is regulated according to SE Menpan RB number 46 of 2020;
  8. Lecturers and/or education staff who violate the provisions of points 1 to 5 above and other government regulations regarding the Establishment of a Covid-19 Public Health Emergency will be subject to employee disciplinary sanctions that apply to Civil Servants and Non-PNS Permanent Employees and Contract Workers.
