The lecture given by Prof. Dr. H. Abuddin Nata wants to remind us all about the importance of emulating the noble character of the Prophet Muhammad, "The noble character of the Prophet is the spirit, spirit , soul and essence of Islamic teachings. The main teachings in Islam, namely the pillars of faith, the pillars of Islam and ihsan must produce noble character, in the form of good deeds. That is why, Fazlur Rahman, an Islamic reformer from Pakistan in his book al-Islam (1985) once said, that the core of Islamic teachings is noble character which is based on an intimate relationship with Allah ( hablun min Allah ) and an intimate relationship with humans ( habl min al-naas ),” he explained

"First, in emulating the morals of the Prophet Muhammad, it must be kaafah (total). That is not only in terms of faith, piety, morals and manners or worship, but must be total. Second, that in following and imitating the Prophet Muhammad it is not enough just outwardly, but accompanied by an inner heart, that is accompanied by faith and hoping for a reward on the Day of Judgment. Third, that in imitating or following the morals of the Prophet Muhammad, do not only rely on conscience or emotions, but must also be accompanied by intelligence and hard work. And the fourth, that in emulating the morals of the Prophet Muhammad can also be accompanied by following Allah SWT's plan which is so neat and well coordinated, "continued Prof. Dr. H. Abuddin Nata in his lecture

Abuddin Nata conveyed, I hope we can emulate all the noble character of the Apostle. The noble character of Rasulullah SAW is not something that is difficult for us to achieve, there are many simple things from him that we can emulate and implement well and everything comes back from how good our intentions are in the future. Hopefully all of our hard work can get a lot of grace from Allah SWT and of course we can become employees who are trustworthy in accordance with the morals of the Prophet Muhammad, "said the Chancellor hopefully.
