HumasUPNVJ – The Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta and his staff visited Jakarta State University (UNJ) on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in order to follow up on a Letter from the Chancellor of Jakarta State University on January 21, 2022 regarding the Invitation to Sign a Memorandum of Understanding between UPN Veterans Jakarta and Jakarta State University.

UPN Veteran Jakarta's visit to Jakarta State University was intended to conduct learning and exchange of information related to State Universities with Public Service Agencies (PTN-BLU). Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP, as the Chancellor of UPN Veteran Jakarta, admits that there are still many things that need to be learned from other more experienced universities, especially to overcome the obstacles currently being experienced by UPN Veteran Jakarta, namely information technology, remuneration, and others. UPN Veteran Jakarta requires a lot of digital-based services that have been launched by Jakarta State University. The basic thing is that universities with BLU status are considered to be able to improve the quality of service faster and better for the welfare of employees and students alike.

“Mr. Chancellor, within this framework, we may be exploring collaboration again for there are many things we can learn from these UNJ colleagues. Maybe we also hope that UPN Veteran Jakarta will also be able to provide the assistance that UNJ friends need.” Erna said on the sidelines of her speech. Apart from that, Erna also hopes that this memorandum of understanding will create collaboration between UPN Veteran Jakarta and Jakarta State University in the MBKM program in 2022. "Perhaps with this MoU, students can do student exchanges with UNJ," she added.

Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Si, as the Chancellor of the Jakarta State University, is pleased to welcome UPN Veterans Jakarta to gather as much information as possible. Komarudin in his remarks said that this cooperation must always be improved. Universities must learn from each other in areas where each excels because by studying and working together, information will be obtained more quickly.

According to Komarudin, management that must require technology requires a grand design with managers who have capacity, competence and experience. Closing his remarks, Komarudin hopes that the signing of the memorandum of understanding between UPN Veteran Jakarta and Jakarta State University will not only bring benefits but also blessings.
