HumasUPNVJ - Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) Dr. Anter Venus, MA.Comm said as many as 1,738 prospective students were declared to have passed the Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) for the 2022 State University Entrance Examination (SBMPTN).

“A total of 1,738 prospective students have passed the 20 undergraduate study programs at UPNVJ. For those who have not passed the UTBK SBMPTN 2022, there is still an opportunity to study at UPNVJ through the Independent Selection route," said Venus in a press release in Jakarta, Thursday (23/6/2022).

Venus said that the interest of prospective students to study at UPNVJ was very high. This can be seen from the number of UTBK SBMPTN 2022 participants who choose the study programs at UPNVJ reaching 30,447 people.

UPNVJ is included in the top 10 state universities with the highest average scores of UTBK SBMPTN 2022 accepted, namely 618.51 for science and technology study programs and 623.26 for social studies and humanities programs.

“This shows that the competition for prospective students to be accepted at UPNVJ is very tight. Therefore, UPNVJ is committed to providing the best educational services to students," he said.

The most popular science and technology study programs at UPNVJ are S-1 Medicine, S-1 Public Health, and S-1 Informatics. Meanwhile, the most popular social and humanities study programs are S-1 Communication Studies, S-1 Management, and S-1 Law.

"Interests in the S-1 Communication Science study program reached 4,291 people and 160 people were accepted, while those interested in the S-1 Medicine study program reached 3,118 people and were accepted by 111 people," he explained.

UPNVJ is still open for registration through the Independent Selection of the S-1 Program until June 27, 2022 for prospective students who are declared not to have passed the UTBK SBMPTN 2022. Registration for the Independent Selection is carried out online through the website pendaftaran.upnvj.ac.id.
