International Affairs Office of UPNVJ Holds Webinars to Expand Study Insights and Work Abroad

UPNVJ PR - Apart from being known as the richest country, Qatar is also one of the 10 countries with the best education systems in the world. The Qatari government has even established education as one of the basic pillars of the country's development. In an effort to improve its education system, Qatar invites various international universities to open branches in the country. In addition, the Qatari government also established Education City. The Qatari government established approximately 11 schools, 3 research institutes, and 9 universities in Education City. Seeing this, the UPN Veterans Jakarta International Affairs Office held a hybrid webinar through a zoom meeting platform (online) and face-to-face which was attended by approximately 10 participants including the Chancellor, Vice Rector for Academics, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Head of International Affairs Office, International Affairs Office staff and Public Relations staff located in the Nusantara 1 UPNVJ meeting room. Dr. Bambang, as the Head of UPNVJ International Affairs Office, in his speech at the beginning of the event said that Qatar is a developed country, which can be used as an example in the field of education, "As we know, Qatar is one of the developed countries, especially in the field of education. I see  many benefits that we can get from this meeting, especially for UPNVJ lecturers and students,” said Dr. Bambang.

UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Erna, thanked Prof. Anto directly at the event organized by KUI, "Thanks to Prof. Anto for his presence. As stated by Mr. Bambang, this activity is one of the souvenirs from our trip. When we were in Kazakhstan, we met Prof. Anto who is a lecturer from Indonesia who has had teaching and learning experience abroad, especially in Qatar. Hopefully with this meeting we can take the opportunities that exist from the information and knowledge that we will get from Prof. Anto," said Prof. Erna.

The activity was continued with a presentation on Study and Work Opportunities in Qatar from Prof. Anton. In his presentation, Prof. Anto explained a lot about how to hone skills and take advantage of great opportunities while abroad, to be precise in Qatar.
