HumasUPNVJ - UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) has again given birth to a new professor in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati. Ak. CPMA. CA which was officially inaugurated by the Chair of the UPNVJ Senate on Wednesday (27/7/22).
Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati is the 3rd (third) Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business. Until the inauguration ceremony this time, there were 5 permanent professors who were active at UPN Veterans Jakarta.
“Congratulations, I hope that being confirmed as a professor will further enhance the role and function of higher education. Becoming a professor is not the end of a lecturer's career achievement, but instead makes this title a spirit that always generates new inspiration for fellow lecturers who already have the Academic Functional Position (JFA) Head Lecturer to try to improve to become a professor," said Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, S.H., M.H. Chair of the Senate and Professor of the Faculty of Law.
Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati. Ak. CPMA. CA has a track record of leadership achievements at UPNVJ starting as Dean of FEB 2007-2015, Vice Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance 2015-2018 and 2018-until now as Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta.
In the open session agenda, in front of 300 invited guests including civil and non-civil officials, Prof. Dr. Erna gave a scientific oration entitled Principles of Corporate Governance Based on State Defense Values.
The event went solemnly with the presence of the biological mother as well as the extended family of Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati.
Besides being the pride of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati is also a source of pride and role model for her family, especially in the field of education, because the degree she currently holds is a good example for her children to show for the umpteenth time.
"This title is a good example for us for the umpteenth time, by looking at all of his struggles so far, he has tried his best to be able to do everything as much as possible, both being academics and being mothers for us children," said the Eldest Putra from Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati.
