Ablai Khan University Kazakh Delegation Visits UPNVJ

HumasUPNVJ – A delegation from the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages visited the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) to discuss the double degree program as a form of implementing international cooperation followed by seminars with speakers from both countries.

"We thank the Ablai Khan University delegation for discussing the implementation of the double degree program plan for the International Relations Study Program. Through this collaboration, we hope that the two universities can open up opportunities to explore cooperation in other programs, such as student mobility, joint research and publication. , webinars, international symposiums, and others," said UPNVJ Chancellor Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati Ak, CPMA, CA when receiving the Ablai Khan University delegation in the Nusantara Meeting Room 1, Pondok Labu UPNVJ Campus, Tuesday (23/9/2022).

Head of International Affairs (KUI) UPNVJ Dr. Bambang Susanto said the long impact of the establishment of Indonesian Corner at Ablai Khan University and Kazakhtan Corner at UPNVJ is expected to have a good impact on cooperation, not only in education, but also in other fields such as economics, social, culture , and especially the Indonesia-Kazakhtan bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Youth Policy of Ablai Khan University Tatyana Seryozhkina expressed her gratitude for UPNVJ's welcome. She said the visit to discuss the double degree program could be a good new start in developing close relations between the two universities in the field of science.

"We appreciate UPNVJ in realizing the establishment of Kazakhstan Corner as an effort to promote and introduce culture to university students," he said.

Also attending the meeting were Counselor , Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazbek Bokebayev and Head of Economic Section , Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Zhaparov who represented the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Indonesia Daniyar Sarekenov.

The event continued with an online seminar which was opened by the Head of KUI UPNVJ Dr. Bambang Susanto. Bambang expressed his hopes for opportunities for cooperation between UPNVJ and Ablai Khan University in the field of student exchanges, cultural exchanges, webinars and other activities.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FISIP UPNVJ Dr. Dudy Heryadi conveyed the Chancellor's hope that this collaboration would open opportunities for exploring other collaborations between the two universities at the international level.

The seminar was attended by a delegation from Ablai Khan University including Vice Rector for Youth Policy Tatyana Seryozhkina, Director of the Center for International Scientific Programs Madina Akhmatova; and Head of International Office Tangsholpan Abdigapar. Representatives from the Kazakh Embassy, Counselor , Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kazbek Bokebayev and Head of Economic Section , Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Bauyrzhan Zhaparov, representing Kazakhstan Ambassador to Indonesia Daniyar Sarekenov.

The seminar was held with two material presentation sessions. The first presentation session was presented by Kazbek Bokebayev. He explained matters related to Kazakhstan such as geographical location, territory, culture, population, language, to the state constitution of Kazakhstan and the cooperative relationship between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the presentation of the following material discussed Intercultural Communication as The Main Factor of International Cooperation presented by Madina Akhmatova who explained that collaboration in the fields of science and culture is an implementation of international cooperation which is very useful in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
