DIKWAL 2022 Closed with Debriefing of Three Chancellors of UPN Veterans throughout Indonesia

HumasUPNVJ - The 2022 State Defense Initial Education (DIKWAL) has been carried out for five days, starting from December 18 to today, December 22 at the Air Force Academy's Sabang Merauke Building, Yogyakarta.

This activity was closed with a debriefing by three UPN Veteran Chancellors, including the Chancellor of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta (UPNVY), the Chancellor of UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), and the Chancellor of UPN Veterans East Java (UPNJT) who served as moderators.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UPNJT, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi as the moderator explained more or less the history of UPN Veteran and gave encouragement to the 207 DIKWAL 2022 participants, "We must create pioneers for nation building, because these UPN Veterans are the ones who will become great people for Indonesia. You are the ones who can be part of helping UPN Veteran to achieve the vision and mission that has been made," he said

The event continued with debriefing from the Chancellor of UPNJT Prof. Dr. Irhas. The material presented by Prof. Irhas, namely regarding the importance of State Defense and Widya Mwat Yasa, "Defending the State is inseparable from Widya Mwat Yasa, which means studying knowledge to serve the development of the nation and state. So the 2022 DIKWAL participants must really understand the identity of Bela Negara and Widya Mwat Yasa, and be able to implement these values, "explained the Chancellor of UPNVY

Not only explaining the importance of State Defense and Widya Mwat Yasa, Dr. Anter Venus MA, Comm conveyed regarding the Implementation of State Defense Values in everyday life, "In the application of State Defense values, what must be understood are two approaches to State Defense Education (PBN), including through a reasoning approach: must be able to build the character of defending the country through the power of reason (critical, logical, data-based argumentation) imbued with universal traditional values of the university and through an experiential approach, namely as character cultivation through the process of experiencing either directly or indirectly ( experiential and vicarious learning )," explained the Chancellor of UPNVJ .

The closing of DIKWAL 2022 was marked by the announcement of the best DIKWAL 2022 participants.
