HumasUPNVJ - UPNVJ students have again made achievements in the field of entrepreneurship, this time students of the Faculty of Economics and Business class of 2020 consisting of Kamelia Nur Syamsiyah from S1 Development Economics, Fathnisa Wulandari S1 Management, Marcella Nazmatul Lail S1 Sharia Economics who named herself as the Can Sell Team, with his business Sigiri (Onigiri with a local flavor) won a grant of IDR 30,000,000.- from the Program, the Entrepreneurship Competency Grant (HOKI) Season 2, which was organized by PT. Pegadaian collaborated with ISEI (Indonesian Economists Association) Jakarta, on the eve of the HOKI season 2 award at Sarinah Mall Jakarta on Monday, December 19, 2022.

The competition, which took place on 6 December 2022, was attended by 148 teams from various universities in Jakarta in the early stages, with a selection process through business plan proposals and filing, then the 20 best teams were selected to advance to the semifinals, to pitch and show prototypes in front of the contestants. jury. Until the 10 best teams were selected to receive grants of 30 million rupiah each, along with merchandise from PT Pegadaian, they also received business assistance and training from January to April 2023.

The shape of Sigiri is like Onigiri but the basic ingredients used are different from onigiri which is made from rice, the basic ingredients of Sigiri are tofu, tempeh and cassava. The declining public health condition due to the Covid 19 pandemic, so that enthusiasts of healthy food are increasing, as well as the public's desire to consume practical food so that it can be eaten anywhere is the background for Sagiri's presence.
