On this occasion, the Chancellor read the remarks of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. It is said that citizens must have the spirit, awareness, and ability to defend the country.

“We must have deterrence and resilience in dealing with situations that are rapidly developing and complex in all fields. Therefore, we must continue to build human resources that are superior, productive, innovative, and competitive and have an awareness of Defending the Country," explained the Chancellor in front of the entire UPNVJ academic community.

Still quoting from the written remarks of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the Chancellor said the message sounded inviting all components of the nation to jointly carry out their duties and responsibilities according to our respective roles and professions, to participate in Defending the Country.

"Make today a momentum for all of us to further increase awareness, enthusiasm, and obligations in defending the country, building the nation, and defending the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia that we love," said the Chancellor.
