HumasUPNVJ - In order to realize the internationalization vision, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta plans to take part in the QS World University Rankings program. But before that, the UPNVJ Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M) invited Prof. Irwan Tri Nugroho, PhD as Professor of Management Science (UNS) Solo to provide material in preparation for and mentoring the QS World University Rankings Program which UPNVJ will participate in.

This Sharing Session activity presented the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellors, Deans, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Institutions, Deputy Deans, Heads of Technical Implementation Units and Coordinators for Personnel Affairs and their staff, which was held face to face, took place in Nusantara Meeting Room 1 UPNVJ.

Anter Venus, the Chancellor of UPNVJ enthusiastically led the discussion. In his remarks at the start of the activity, the Chancellor said that UPNVJ needed strong branding , "We want enlightenment from Prof. Irwan hoped that UPNVJ could also exist and compete in the QS World University Rankings. We have taken several steps towards internationalization, such as exchanging lecturers and students from and to abroad, one of which is by participating in the QS World University Rankings program we will be able to become an international campus. This process also has many stages, such as ranking then visibility, and for the QS World University Rankings we will pursue visibility first and then we will prepare for ranking to see that UPNVJ itself is still one of the State Universities that has only been running for about nine years," said Venus.

Prof. Irwan explained a lot about the existing strategies and challenges in the fields of Employer Reputation, Research Quality, Quality of Education (Learning), and International Activities. In addition, Prof. Irwan also explained about the stages of the QS World University Rankings that had been obtained by UNS , "As an overview from what has been obtained by UNS in the last few years, QS Star conducts an audit every 3-4 years. UNS was first audited by QS Star in 2011 and then obtained 2 stars, then in 2015 it was audited again and was still able to get 2 stars and in 2018 it increased to 3 stars then in 2022 UNS was able to achieve 4 stars. I think UPNVJ can also reach this point, even more so if it really focuses on preparing the preparation, "explained Prof. Irwan very clearly
