UPNVJ Students Get Technical Guidance in Preparing Ormawa PPK Proposals Directly from the Reviewer Team!

HumasUPNV J - Following up on the Ormawa PPK socialization activities which were carried out two weeks ago, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) Student Affairs today (10/03) is holding a follow-up activity, namely Proposal Discussion Technical Guidance. As the name suggests, the activity which took place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium lt. 4 aims to provide guidance to ormawa who are preparing proposals so that they can qualify for government funding.

In this technical guidance session and discussion of the proposal, UPNVJ directly presented reviewers and the Ormawa PPK IT technical team including Soecipto, ST., MH and Febri Rahman. Students who attended were given the opportunity to discuss and ask questions to the two speakers.

Referring to the explanation given by Febri, the proposal submitted should pay attention to at least four main points, including; 1) the proposal must contain details of the budget to be used, 2) the suitability of the location, 3) the realization of the topic chosen for the service, and 4) the outcome of the service.

Meanwhile, Soecipto provided a briefing in the form of notes on the mistakes in the preparation of proposals that were often made so that these proposals did not qualify for funding. These notes are of course very useful and help students in preparing good proposals.

Proposals that often do not pass the initial stage, namely the administration stage, are caused by a statement of willingness to cooperate from the community or partners that the village does not know.

Apart from administrative issues, proposals that did not pass were also related to the content of the proposal itself. According to the notes provided by Soecipto, these reasons include:

1. Many proposals fail due to a discrepancy in the preparation of the guidelines that have been set
2. Need to involve more target groups
3. The sustainability of the program has not been well planned, the method of program implementation is not detailed enough, and the partnership is weak in program design and does not have enough advantages
4. It is necessary to prepare targets and involve them from the beginning of program design
5. Does not describe the process of community empowerment that is sustainable and involves active community participation
6. The content of community empowerment is very lacking, especially in the aspect of sustainability
7. All indicators of success are not in accordance with the 2022 Ormawa PPK guidelines
8. All program outputs are not in accordance with the 2022 Ormawa PPK guidelines

It is hoped that the material presented by the two informants can be used as learning and applied to the proposals being prepared by the ormawa so that quality ideas and ideas to serve the community receive both material and moral support from the government and universities.
