UPN Veteran Jakarta Sends 5 Students to Participate in National KKN in West Kalimantan

HumasUPNVJ - Today (18/7), Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPN Veteran) is proud to hold a release event for students who will participate in the National KKN. This event was attended by the UPN Veterans academic community who also gave encouragement and blessings to the five students who were going to the border areas in West Kalimantan.

This year, UPN Veteran Jakarta is sending 5 students who will join more than 1,000 students from all over Indonesia and several from universities in Malaysia in the National KKN activities. This activity will last for a full month, starting from 20 July to 20 August 2023.

The location of the National Community Service Program this time took place in the border villages of Sambas Regency and Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. UPN Veteran Jakarta has participated in the National KKN program for the last two years. Last year, KKN activities took place in Central Kalimantan Province and this year in West Kalimantan Province, with coordination from Tanjungpura University.

The theme raised for this year's National KKN is "Strengthening National Values to Maintain the Integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in the State Border Region in West Kalimantan". This program aims to support regional development and development, especially in the border areas between Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Anter Venus, expressed his hope that the students participating in this KKN could implement the learning outcomes on campus and realize the spirit of defending the country by helping the people in the research locations to solve existing problems.

While undergoing KKN activities, students are expected to be able to maintain the good name of the UPN Veterans Jakarta academic community and participate in activities in an orderly manner. In addition, it is also hoped that students can have a positive impact on the community in the research location and play an active role in advancing the border areas.

Enthusiasm and prayers of blessing were conveyed by the Chancellor of Anter Venus to the five students who departed for this KKN activity. "May God Almighty provide guidance and guidance in every step they take in carrying out this noble task." he said.

With great enthusiasm, the five students departed to take part in the National KKN and are expected to become ambassadors who excel in implementing national values and maintaining the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in the border areas of the country in West Kalimantan. Hopefully the success and benefits resulting from this activity can be felt by the community and become the first step in bringing positive change to the nation and state.
