Vice Chancellor Perdana University Malaysia Talks About Nationalism

HumasUPNVJ - After signing a Memorandum of Understanding 9MoU) with Perdana University, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Office of International Affairs (KUI) held a seminar regarding nationalism.

The seminar, which was located at the UPNVJ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, was moderated directly by the Head of KUI, Dr. Bambang Susanto and filled by presenters who have broad insight on related topics. Another source and no other is the Vice Chancellor of Perdana University , Prof. Datok Seri Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Ishak who also had the opportunity to sign the MoU at the previous event.

The event was opened by the Chancellor of UPNVJ himself, Dr. Anter Venus, MA. Comm. Through her opening remarks, Venus emphasized the similarity of backgrounds between Malaysia and Indonesia in the context of national integration. Many aspects have contributed to strengthening the bond of national integration for hundreds of years.

With speakers from Perdana University, Venus hopes that the event participants can learn a lot about the political, historical, patriotic and political aspects of Malaysia from experts directly.

Prof Datok Seri Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Ishak conveyed a clear explanation of the history of education in Malaysia, as well as how the cultural aspects of various ethnic backgrounds have influenced the condition of education in the country. His presentation was very inspiring and provided new insights for the students and lecturers who attended.

The event was not only filled with presentations, but also involved an interactive question and answer session between students and resource persons. The questions posed by the students enriched the discussion and provided new perspectives on the comparison between the education systems in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The signing of the MoU between Perdana University and UPNVJ marked the commitment of the two universities to enhance cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience from the two countries. This academic collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on the development of education and research at both institutions, as well as open up opportunities for students to gain valuable international experience.

Rector and Prof Datok Seri Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Ishak hopes that this collaboration will become a strong foundation for further collaboration in the fields of education and research, as well as strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia.
