HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) agreed to cooperate with Erciyes Üniversitesi, a university from the city of Kayseri in Turkiye, on Sunday, July 30 2023. The collaboration was agreed in the form of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of education, student affairs , research and so on.
The signing of the collaboration between UPNVJ and Erciyes Üniversitesi in Jakarta is the first step which will soon be implemented into real programs. In the meeting, the two universities also discussed the initial draft of the Plan of Action as a reference for following up on the cooperation agreement.
"UPNVJ continues to encourage internationalization efforts. One of the efforts is this international cooperation. It is necessary to encourage our institutions to continue to transform," said Dr. Anter Venus as Chancellor of UPNVJ.
Venus also said that international and national cooperation contributed to improving the quality of education within UPNVJ. Therefore, UPNVJ continues to work on increasing partnerships, both with domestic and foreign universities, including those from Turkiye countries.
"Erciyes Üniversitesi's first choice to collaborate with campuses in Indonesia was UPNVJ," said Venus.
A number of potential collaborations between UPNVJ and Erciyes Üniversitesi cover joint research and publications, exchange of lecturers and students, collaborations related to seminars, international conferences and workshops, and so on that benefit both parties.
The signing of the MoU was carried out by UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anter Venus and Rector of Erciyes Üniversitesi Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, witnessed by Vice Rector III Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ., MH., and the Dean of FISIP UPNVJ, Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto, M.Sc.
