UPNVJ Together with BSKLN Ministry of Foreign Affairs Holds a Debriefing Forum for Heads of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia

HumasUPNVJ - In order to improve the quality of Indonesia's bilateral or multilateral relations with various countries and international organizations UPN Veteran Jakarta together with the Foreign Policy Strategic Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BSKLN Kemlu) held a discussion forum with ambassadors.

"This collaboration is the right combination for the UPNVJ academic community, as well as for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On the one hand, to develop a theoretical way of thinking towards concrete and practical steps in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Teaching, Research and Community Service). On the other hand, it can even out academic foundations for formulating foreign policies and strategies," said Anter Venus, Chancellor of UPNVJ in his remarks at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, on Tuesday (05/09/23).

Dr. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana Head of BSKLN of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Debriefing Forum was a forum or platform for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indonesian Representatives in conveying public accountability for the Heads of Indonesian Representatives who had completed their tenure abroad.

"Through this Forum, the public obtains direct information regarding the implementation of the Indonesian Government's vision and mission in the accreditation area as well as the various achievements achieved, the obstacles encountered, as well as the directions and strategies that need to be developed for the future. Thus, today's activities are also expected to be able to solicit public suggestions and input to improve the quality of Indonesia's bilateral or multilateral relations with various countries and international organizations," Yayan explained.

On this special occasion, the 200 student representatives who attended were able to directly discuss with Ambassador Dr. Sujatmiko, who explained the efforts and achievements of Indonesian diplomacy in Brunei Darussalam and Indonesian Permanent Representative to ASEAN Ade Padmo Sarwono also explained the efforts and achievements of Indonesian diplomacy in ASEAN as well as Acep Soemantri, S.IP, MBA, Associate Expert Diplomat, Center for Policy Strategy for the Asia Pacific Region and Africa, BSKLN, Indonesian Consul General Frankfurt.
