Public Relations UPNVJ – UPN "Veteran" Jakarta students from various study programs and faculties, including the FISIP Political Science Study Program and the Faculty of Law, have made the university proud by winning medals at the prestigious Everest Taekwondo Championship (ETC) Menpora Cup 2023.
The championship, which will be held on 17-18 December 2023 at the Ciracas Sports Hall, East Jakarta, is the last Taekwondo competition in 2023 and will be attended by the best athletes from all over Indonesia. The 2023 Menpora Cup ETC is known as one of the most prestigious taekwondo competitions in Indonesia.
This year, the championship succeeded in attracting the attention of many participants and spectators, with the organization strictly following health protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
The achievements achieved by Dendi, one of the representatives from FISIP, are not only a matter of pride for himself, but also for the extended FISIP UPNVJ family. This victory was the result of the dedication, hard training and high fighting spirit that Dendi had shown during preparation and the match.
UPNVJ, especially FISIP and FH, provides full support to its students in developing talents and interests outside the academic field, including sports. Dendi's victory in this event proves that the university does not only focus on academic achievement, but also supports the development of student potential in various fields.
It is hoped that Dendi's achievements at the Everest Taekwondo Championship can motivate other students to continue developing their talents and interests, as well as being an inspiration for young Indonesian athletes in pursuing their dreams and achievements on the national and international stage.

2. 1st Place Poomsae Individual Senior Female Taeguk 5 (Zahra Moefti Aurelie)
3. 2nd place in Kyourugi Senior Women Under 49 Kg (Dean Putri Amelia)
4. 2nd Place in Kyourugi Senior Men Under 54 Kg (Fajar Dwi Syahputra)
5. 3rd Place in Kyourugi Senior Men Under 68 Kg (Muhammad Yasser Zaydan)
On December 17 2023, Fajar Dwi Syahputra, FH UPNVJ student, achieved another achievement, winning 2nd place in Kyourugi Senior Men Under 54 Kg representing UPNVJ.
