Public Relations UPNVJ - Faculty of Medicine, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) received a visit from the Faculty of Medicine, Bangka Belitung University (UBB) in the Dean's Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Wahidin Soediro Husodo Building on Wednesday, December 27 2023.

This visit was attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dr. Feda Anisah Makkiyah, Sp.BS., M.Kes, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs & Cooperation dr. Erna Harfiani, M.Si, Head of Department dr. Retno Yulianti, M.Biomed, Head of Biomedical Masters Study Program, Dr. Dr. Maria Selvester Thadeus, M.Biomed., Sp.KKLP, Head of PSKPP Study Program dr. Tri Faranita, M.Ked(Ped)., Sp.A, PSKPS Study Program Secretary dr. Agneta Irmarahayu, M.Pd.Ked., Sp.KKLP, along with staff from the Faculty of Medicine, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.

This activity was carried out in order to gain knowledge and insight regarding the implementation mechanism for the plan to develop a Teaching Hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, Bangka Belitung University, considering that the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine already has a Teaching Hospital, namely RSPAD Gatot Soebroto and has received Superior Accreditation.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Dr. Feda Anisah Makkiyah, Sp.BS., M.Kes started the activity by introducing the UPNVJ Medical Faculty Profile and expressed her many thanks for this visit. He hopes that through this visit, the Faculty of Medicine, Bangka Belitung University can gain new knowledge as well as a number of tips for implementing the opening of the Faculty of Medicine.

The event continued with remarks by Mr. Elyas Kustiawan as Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, FKIK, Bangka Belitung University. In his speech, he conveyed a brief history of Bangka Belitung University, and continued with the aims and objectives of carrying out the visit, namely finding out the extent of the establishment of the Teaching Hospital at the UPNVJ Medical Faculty.

Through this visit, the Faculty of Medicine, Bangka Belitung University is expected to be able to prepare everything regarding the establishment of a Teaching Hospital.

Apart from Mr. Elyas Kustiawan as Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, the delegation that also attended the visit included Dr. Kamila Layal, M.Biomed as Secretary of the FKIK Study Program, Apriyandi, A.Md as HR Officer at Dr. RSUD. (HC) Ir. Soekarno of Bangka Belitung Province, Ayu Permatasari, SE as Treasury Coordinator, and Fitri Asmara, S.Ak as Expenditure Treasurer of Bangka Belitung University.

The activity continued with a joint discussion session discussing the advantages of each faculty, as well as the mechanisms for planning the development of Teaching Hospitals, and preparing further cooperation plans. The activity closed with a plaque presentation and a group photo session.
