First in history, UPNVJ succeeded in achieving the title of being informative

Public Relations UPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) succeeded in winning the title Towards Informative at the 2023 Public Information Openness Awards. The event, which was held by the Central Information Commission, took place at the Mercure Hotel Kemayoran Jakarta on Wednesday, December 20 2023.

In the Higher Education category, UPNVJ succeeded in achieving the Towards Informative title in sixth position with a total of 86.14 points. This is the first time in history that UPNVJ has been able to achieve the title Towards Informative.

"This is an extraordinary achievement. Together with other large universities, UPNVJ has succeeded in receiving this title," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anter Venus, MA.Comm.

Venus said there were two important things related to UPNVJ's latest achievements. First, with the title Towards Informative, UPNVJ means that it is already in a position to implement public information disclosure.

There is only some additional data that must be completed, continued Venus, and this "is our collective task to complete it."

The second point, achieving this title is the beginning for UPNVJ to become an informative public institution. Venus emphasized that the flow of information at UPNVJ must lead to open and proactive behavior, in the sense that the university and all its organs can provide various types of information that should be made available to the public.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ., MH. appreciate the hard work of the UPNVJ academic community and all related parties who contributed to achieving the title Towards Informative.

"UPNVJ has become increasingly aware of the importance of information disclosure, and is currently continuing to make various efforts to become a truly informative public institution," said Ria.
