Mass circumcision will conclude the UPNVJ anniversary series in 2023

Public Relations UPNVJ - The mass circumcision was part of a series of events closing the 46th Anniversary of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta, which took place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium on the UPNVJ Pondok Labu campus on Saturday, December 23 2023.

This activity was organized by the Student Regiment Alumni and Menwa, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and its alumni.

Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ, MH was present to open the event at 08.00 WIB, which was immediately followed by a mass circumcision.

"This event was held in conjunction with UPNVJ's 46th Anniversary, which also aims to increase awareness among alumni," said Ria, adding that there were 53 participants in the mass circumcision.

Lestari Rahmawati, one of the parents of the mass circumcision participants, admitted that she was happy to be able to participate. He said this mass circumcision was a very positive activity.

"Through this activity, UPNVJ has provided benefits that can be felt directly by the community," said Lestari.

The committee presents an entertainment program for participants who are waiting for their turn to be circumcised. Meanwhile, those who had completed the circumcision immediately received medicine and a goody bag. Before going home, participants are invited to take a group photo.

UPNVJ has carried out mass circumcisions several times, including in community service (abdimas) schemes. Different from before, this is the first mass circumcision at UPNVJ which was held in collaboration with its alumni.

"We hope that in the future, the relationship between alumni will be even closer, and more and more alumni will collaborate again to advance UPNVJ," concluded Ria.
