Public RelationsUPNVJ - UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) collaborated with OK OCE to hold an activity entitled "Resilient Young Generation: Building Entrepreneurship with Social Impact" on Monday, June 10 2024, at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium Fl. 4, UPNVJ Rectorate Building.
This event aims to inspire, motivate and support young people in developing businesses that are not only financially profitable but also have a significant social impact.
With the start of the event, it marked the Kick-Off of collaboration between the two parties which was followed by the signing of an MoU between UPNVJ and OK OCE as a form of agreement to unite the mission to carry out Internship and Stadium General (Public Lecture) cooperation.
This event presented speakers such as Iim Rusyamsi, ST., MM (General Chair of OK OCE Indonesia), and Ryan Angkawijaya (Owner of Snazzy Boom). both provide education to students in the Talkshow segment regarding social problems in society and how entrepreneurship can be an effective tool to overcome these problems.
The Chancellor of UPNVJ Veteran Jakarta, represented by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ, MH, emphasized the important role of the younger generation in developing social impact entrepreneurship. "Through OK OCE's experience as a driving force for entrepreneurship in Indonesia, we really hope that this event can provide students with insight into entrepreneurship," he said
Iim highlights the importance of the active role of the tri dharma of higher education in supporting entrepreneurship development. "OK OCE consists of administrators who are experts as Mentors and Trainers, so we are very open to teaching students and university administrators to become strong entrepreneurs."
The event, which was targeted at the Young Generation, was also attended by 130 students, 30 lecturers, 20 business incubation recipients, 20 OK OCE driving leaders, and 15 OK OCE administrators.
OK OCE as a social movement that creates jobs continues to provide inspiration and new enthusiasm in building entrepreneurship that has a social impact, as well as strengthening its commitment to developing a strong and innovative young generation.
