FISIP Achieves Highest KPI in UPNVJ

Public RelationsUPNVJ - Another encouraging news comes from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta. Thanks to hard efforts and good cooperation between various parties, FISIP succeeded in achieving the highest Key Performance Indicators (IKU) among the 6 other faculties at UPNVJ.

Previously, FISIP UPNVJ only achieved 65.3 IKU points. However, a spike occurred this year, where FISIP reached 93.19 IKU points.

"When I first arrived, FISIP had a performance achievement of 65.3. I just thought that if there was no change, then I would fail. My adaptation was also to program the most important thing in gathering and coordinating all stakeholders, especially educational staff. We need those who can "will work together with lecturers," said the Dean of FISIP UPNVJ Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto.

"We have formed all the teams which are still solid to this day. We regularly hold meetings to discuss all matters with the aim of meeting targets," he continued.

In the process of increasing the KPI value, Bekti mentioned several things. "Every obstacle encountered is always discussed and efforts are made to find a solution until it is resolved," he said.

Bekti has several strategies to fulfill all aspects of fulfillment. The main strategy is to form a solid team that works and knows their respective duties and responsibilities. This team holds regular meetings, determines targets that must be achieved, and anything that has not met the target becomes the main program priority.

"We make regular reports every two weeks and we evaluate the process," he said.

A team was also formed under the field of Student Affairs and Cooperation, where they develop and gather outstanding students so that they can later be directed to achieve better achievements. Cooperation has also been increased to the international level.

"In my year in office, it was quite difficult for me to find data including POB data and so on. After that, I sent a team to study the quality control group to another university. After the results of that study, we were able to produce 68 Standard Operational Procedures (POB), this extraordinary," said Bekti.

In less than a year or approximately 8 months, FISIP UPNVJ has prepared and collected all the documents needed for the IKU assessment.

"Hopefully we can maintain what we have, even better because we have the tagline 'More Advanced, Superior and Caring.' "That must be ingrained, especially in FISIP," concluded Bekti.
