FH UPNVJ Successfully Holds National Conference and Call for Papers on Civil Procedure Law VII

The Faculty of Law of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (FH UPNVJ) successfully hosted the National Conference and Call for Papers on Civil Procedure Law VII. This activity is a form of cooperation between FH UPNVJ and ADHAPER (Association of Lecturers of Civil Procedure Law). Thursday, (22/8) at the Hall of Hotel Park 5 Jakarta.

In the conference held, approximately 200 participants carried the theme "opportunities and challenges of the prospects for civil procedural law renewal in facing the development of artificial intelligence". This activity was opened by the remarks of the Chief Executive Taupiqqurrahman., SH, M.Kn.

"This activity consists of two series of events on the first day will be held in a plenary session, and on the 2nd day will be held in a parallel session, with a total of 139 participants sending abstracts from adhaper members, non-adhaper and students. Hopefully with this national seminar can open new horizons for us as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law. As well as gaining broader insights," said Taupiq.

The activities of the VII National Conference and Call for Papers on Civil Procedure Law received full support from the Chancellor of UPNVJ Antar Venus.

"The university leadership is very supportive of activities like this, both national and international. In addition to the existence of the institution, this seminar is also a contribution of ideas related to current developments such as AI," said Antar Venus.

The event continued with the signing of the cooperation between FH UPNVJ and ADHAPER. Chairperson of ADHAPER Prof. Dr. Hj. Efa Laela Fakhriah, SH, MH expressed her appreciation for the implementation of this activity. "I would like to thank and greatly appreciate UPNVJ for organizing this good activity. In addition, I hope that later all papers can become articles that can be published with reputable journals that will become partners with ADHAPER with Scopus and Sinta qualifications," said Efa.

The VII National Conference and Call for Paper on Civil Procedure Law, presented four great speakers including Prof. Dr. H Haswandi SH, SE, Mhum, Chief Justice of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Imron Rosyadi, SH, MH, Chief Justice of the Religious Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ramli, SH, MH, Professor of Cyber Law, Digital Policy-Regulation & Intellectual Property, Faculty of Law, Padjajaran University, Prof. Dr. Benny Riyanto, SH, M.Hum. Head of the National Legal Development Agency, Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.
