PKKMB UPNVJ 2024: Preparing New Students with the Spirit of Achievement
Jakarta, August 12, 2024 — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) is proud to announce the implementation of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This activity is themed "Continue to Achieve for Advanced Indonesia."
This theme was chosen as a manifestation of UPNVJ's commitment to supporting the younger generation to continue to work and innovate for the progress of the nation.
This event is designed to welcome 4,384 new students and prepare them to begin their academic journey with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the college environment.
Taking place at Tennis Indoor Senayan, this activity is basically aimed at facilitating a smooth transition from school to campus life, as well as building a solid and supportive academic community. New students will get the opportunity to meet lecturers, seniors, and classmates, as well as gain insight into various organizations and activities on campus.
PKKMB UPNVJ will be held for two days from 12 to 13 August 2024, with a series of activities including academic orientation, question and answer sessions, and an introduction to campus facilities and services.
In addition, new students will be invited to understand the noble values that are the foundation of UPNVJ, namely the values of Bela Begara including integrity, leadership, and commitment to community service.
As part of the university's efforts to provide a holistic and inspiring orientation experience, this year's PKKMB will feature a number of outstanding speakers who are experts in their respective fields. They will share their knowledge on a variety of topics relevant to campus life and the professional world, including leadership, innovation, and self-development.
Among the speakers who will appear are:
· Ministry of Finance, which will discuss Financial Literacy to Increase National Defense Awareness
· Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Mahfud Mahmodin, SH, SU, MIP, who will discuss Indonesia as the Only Independent Nation Because It Expelled the Colonizers
· Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, ST, MT, who will discuss the Higher Education System in Indonesia
· UPNVJ Chancellor, who will discuss the History, Identity and Development of UPNVJ
· Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems, who will discuss the Student Code of Ethics and Student Achievements
· Riky Boi Permata, Olivia Louise, and Irvan Susandy, who will attend the Talkshow on Student Character Development
· dr. Erniawati Lestari, Sp.FK as the Associate Expert Health Administrator of the Directorate of PLRKM, who will discuss National Defense Awareness Through Drug Prevention: Realizing Golden Indonesia 2045
· Director Operational GOTO and Country Manager LINE, who will discuss Higher Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and 5.0
· Liza Marielly Djaprie, M.Psi, a psychologist who will discuss Sexual Violence, Anti-Bullying and Mental Health
· Jovial Da Lopez, who will discuss From MABA Defending the Country for the Indonesian Nation: It's Time for Creative Youth to Speak Up
· Jannatul Jasmine, Muhammad Israfil, Aurellia Astadewi, Yemima Claudia Vanessa Siboro, and Yasmin Salsabilla as outstanding students who will participate in the Sharing Session with the theme The Avengers: Keys to Becoming the Achiever, Owner, Founder, and Influencer
Dr. Anter Venus, MA,. Comm stated, “PKKMB is an important first step in the student education process. We want to ensure that every new student feels accepted and ready to face the academic and non-academic challenges that exist. We hope that this activity can provide a useful experience and motivate students to achieve the best achievements during their studies.”
This event not only focuses on providing motivation and inspiration from extraordinary speakers, but also interspersed with various interesting activities that make the atmosphere more lively. The activities are interspersed with entertainment with stand up comedy .
New students will be treated to creative performances from UPNVJ students who showcase various talents in music, martial arts, and monologues. These performances demonstrate the wealth of potential and creativity that exists on the UPNVJ campus. Not to be missed, several sponsorships that support the implementation of PKKMB will provide important information that is useful for student life.
As the culmination of the entire series of events, PKKMB 2024 was closed with a special performance from the popular band HIVI. The presence of HIVI is expected to create an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and togetherness, and be a sweet ending to this memorable campus introduction journey.
With a blend of education, inspiration, and entertainment, PKKMB UPNVJ 2024 not only introduces new students to campus life, but also provides them with a rich and valuable experience to start their academic journey with enthusiasm.
PKKMB 2024 UPNVJ is an important moment to instill the values of National Defense and encourage students to continue to excel, respond to the challenges of the times, and play an active role in realizing a more advanced Indonesia.
