Monday, January 12 2015 at the Auditorium Gd. General Soedirman Lt. IV UPNVJ held an event "Saying the Promise of Clerkship and Caping Day for Students of the SI and D-III Study Programs in Nursing Faculty of Health Sciences UPNVJ". The event was attended by the Chancellor, Ka. BPH, Warek III, the Deans, Nursing Study Program students and their parents and special guests from Rs. Marine Cilandak Amir Wibianto, Skep, MKM.

The event which started promptly at 09.00 WIB was opened by singing the National Anthem Indonesia Raya and Bela Negara. The event, which took place solemnly, was also entertained by the Gita Advayatva Choir, who presented a beautiful presentation of his golden voice by rendition of Indonesian songs in a medley.

In his remarks, Desak Nyoman Sithi, SKp, MARS as the Dean of FIKes said that activities like this were symbolic activities that were usually carried out by the Nursing Study Program as well as prepared for students as a form of self-preparation both physically and mentally for service at the hospital where they would be employed. In addition, empathetic, honest, cheerful and smiling attitudes have also been trained since now to support the self-personality of a nurse.

On this occasion Prof. Dr. Ir. Eddy S. Siradj, MSc. Eng. as Chancellor of UPNVJ gave a message that the duty of a nurse is a very noble task, because they must have a noble, sincere attitude and do not discriminate against all patients from all aspects and fields. For this reason, it is hoped that all of you students who will start practicing at selected hospitals will behave professionally.
