Journalism or journalism (derived from the word journal) which means diary or notes about daily events, can also be interpreted as a newspaper. Journal comes from the Latin term diurnalis, namely people who do journalistic work. Journalism can be said to be "the first streak in history".
Journalism is the science, technique and process related to writing news, features and opinion articles in the mass media, both print media, electronic media and online media. The notion of journalism is also closely related to writing and the media. For this reason, the ASPIRASI Student Press Institute (LPM), which is one of the UPNVJ Student Activity Units (UKM), held Journalism Education and Training.
For today's agenda, Tuesday, May 19 2015, a Seminar was held with the theme "Journalistic Photographic Investigation Techniques" with the speaker Meta Darma Saputra, the owner of the media "KATA DATA" who used to work as a TEMPO Magazine Investigator.
On this occasion, Haris Prabowo, a student at the Faculty of Law class of 2013 who was acting as Chief Executive, said that the target of this seminar was not only for new members of UKM ASPIRASI, but also for UPNVJ students who wanted to know about journalism. Different from previous years, this routine event and also a work program from UKM ASPIRASi has entered its 30th time being packaged nicely by focusing on the minimum participant limit of only 50 people in one class. This aims to make participants more focused and able to absorb the material to the maximum. In addition, so that journalistic candidates can gain more knowledge and experience that can be used in the world of work later.
