General Election of Chairperson and Deputy Chair of BEM UPNVJ for the 2018 Period

Wednesday, November 29 2017, is the day that UPN "Veteran Jakarta" students have been waiting for, because on RI is the announcement of the results of the 2018 University BEM vote election, which was carried out by the Chancellor and the UPNVJ Student Consultative Council (MPM).

Previously, the pair of candidates for Chair and Deputy BEM of the University had held a candidate debate in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering, Tuesday (21/11). In this election there were 3 candidates namely candidate number one (1) Reynaldi Ramadhani from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and Muhammad Farhan from the Faculty of Economics and Business, candidate number two (2) Ihsan Abdul Aziz from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Damayanti Rizki from the Faculty of Economics and Business. Furthermore, candidate number three (3) Muhammad Emerald H from the Faculty of Law and Muhammad Iqbal R from the Faculty of Engineering.

After going through the candidate debates, it was followed by the 2018 UPNVJ BEM Chairman and Deputy Chairperson General Election which was carried out by active students in 8 TPS spread across each UPNVJ Faculty on Tuesday (28/11). The vote count which was attended by Student Organizations and Student Activity Units was located at Plaza Wardiman. Based on the calculation results, pair number (1) received 1,278 votes, pair number (2) 728 votes, pair number (3) received 382 votes, and 280 invalid votes.

From the results of the existing calculations, pair number one (1) received the most votes, namely 1,278 votes. So, with these results, candidate pair number 1 was elected in the name of Reynaldi Ramadhani, and Muhammad Farhan, who became Chair and Deputy Chair of BEM UPNVJ for the 2018 Period.
