UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Students Participate in
Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Expo (KMI) VIII in 2017

On 22-25 November 2017 Vice Rector III Dr. Ir. Halim Mahfud, M.Sc and staff representatives ai accompanied UPNVJ Faculty of Economics Students in participating in the VIII Year 2017 Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Expo (KMI) at the Pontianak State Polytechnic. Of the thousands of universities that registered, 100 were selected to take part in this annual activity, including UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
The activities carried out by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education did not only feature product exhibitions. One of the main activities in the event is the KMI Award, which is a competition to determine the best entrepreneur and stand. For the KMI Award for the entrepreneur category, there are five industry categories assessed, namely the food and beverage industry which was attended by 79 participants, the service and trade industry which was attended by 34 participants, the technology industry which was attended by 18 participants, the creative industry which was attended by 60 participants, and industrial production or cultivation which was attended by 22 participants.
UPN "Veteran" Jakarta participated in 2 categories including the first category of food and drink with the product name "LidiGeli" Mie Lidi presently presented by Azhar Abdurahman Fauzi, Rizki, Anisa Wiwid Rikyana. The second category of Creative Industry with the product name “KENALIRIK (One-Pull Magnetic Mukena) Mukena innovation Practical, unique, syar'i and fashionable with a very simple and multifunctional folding system as a key chain, this product was displayed by Maulida Silvani, Nadia Bella Salsabila, Vinda Syakiya Lubis. Each product is displayed by representatives of the Faculty of Economics students. (Anisa's report)
