Jakarta - In order to implement a balanced nutrition pattern in Indonesia, the UPNVJ Nutrition Student Association and the Association of Indonesian Nutrition Student Institutions are holding the "SciFi Neutron 2018", Sci-Fi Neutron is an annual scientific event for nutrition students in Indonesia. This year, Sci-Fi Neutron has the theme "Reduce Hypertension Rates by Implementing a Balanced Nutritional Pattern". The form of the Neutron Sci-Fi activity on the first day, Friday (09/03/18) began with a technical meeting of the competition, followed by remarks by Taufik Maryusman, S.Gz, M.Gizi, M.Pd representing the Head of Nutrition Science Program who was unable to attend . In his remarks he said " Welcome and thank you to all Scifi Neutron 2018 participants. Nutritional science is currently leading to a trend that is almost the same as medicine. Proud to be a part of nutrition science. We hope that Sci-Fi Neutron activities can run safely and smoothly without any problems, " he said. In addition, AKPK Bureau Head Dr. Drs. Suyatno, MM representing the Chancellor of UPNVJ also delivered his remarks, he said " I am very proud of this opportunity. I hope the science of nutrition can increasingly provide benefits to people's lives. Because currently many Indonesian people, especially those living in Indonesia, are experiencing excess nutrition or excess nutrition. Thank you for your presence and good luck for the event, hopefully everything will run smoothly, " he said.

The event continued with the explanation of the competition rules by the committee and the competition started the next day, Saturday (10/03/18). After the presentation of the regulations, it was followed by cutting the ribbon as a symbol of the inauguration of the 2018 Neutron Sci-Fi by the Head of the AKPK Bureau, Dr. Drs. Suyatno, MM. this activity was attended by participants totaling 62 finalists and 25 delegates of Nutrition Science Students from all over Indonesia. According to Arum, a Nutrition Science Student at UPNVJ, who was one of the organizers of this event, said that the purpose of this activity was to increase the knowledge of nutrition students and the general public regarding Non-Communicable Diseases so as to produce creative and innovative solutions that could be useful in solving these problems in Indonesia in the future. The benefit is to develop the knowledge of all nutrition science students or the Indonesian people regarding the urgency of handling non-communicable diseases, especially hypertension. With this event, it is hoped that creative solutions will be born which can later contribute to solving these problems in Indonesia.
