Jakarta – In connection with the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UPNVJ and the Professional Certification Institute for Fraud Detection of Procurement of Goods and Services (LSP PKP), today the UPNVJ Accounting Study Program held the signing of the MOU and Public Lecture with the theme “The Role of Leadership in Organizations” at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium UPNVJ, Wednesday (11/04/18).

The public lecture which was attended by 183 participants included the leaders and students of FEB UPNVJ. In this case Prof. Dr. Eddy S. Siradj, M.Sc.Eng as the Chancellor of UPNVJ said that all UPNVJ students should be able to improve the spirit of Leadership " Today we will get an explanation from Mr. Taufiq Effendi in increasing Leadership which is human nature to be a leader, therefore we need input to improve leadership to experts, "he said.

In addition, the Chancellor of UPNVJ said that with this agreement it is hoped that all UPNVJ lecturers, especially FEB lecturers, can carry out activities for the future in a measurable and clear manner in accordance with the mission of UPNVJ and develop more transparent financial system.

In this public lecture, the speaker was Brigadier General Pol (Purn) Dr. Drs. H. Taufiq Effendi, MBA. In this case he explained that the importance of a role to create leaders in an organization "This public lecture is only one important word, namely role. Lack of love for the motherland because of forgetting the role, "he said. He also added " As a leader, you must know 3 (three) things, namely knowing the mission, who is working together and focusing on it, " he concluded.
