HumasUPNVJ - Six candidates for chancellor of the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) for the 2018-2022 period delivered their vision and mission presentations and work programs at the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Bhineka Bhineka Hall, Monday (30/7/2018).

The six UPNVJ chancellor candidates namely Prof. Dr. Anondho Wijanarko, M.Eng (University of Indonesia), Dr. Taufiqurohman, SH., MH (Bengkulu University), Dr. Drs. Freddy BL. Tobing, M.Si (University of Indonesia), Dr. Abdul Halim, M.Ag (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak., CPMA., CA (UPN "Veteran" Jakarta), Prof. Dr. Ibnu Hammad, M.Si (University of Indonesia).

They explained their vision, mission and work program in front of the academic community and members of the senate, as well as representatives from Menristekdikti. From the presentations delivered by each candidate, it is implied that all the programs offered are inseparable from UPNVJ's vision and mission, namely to make UPNVJ superior and able to play an active role in nation building through the process of education, research and community service.

Head of UPN Senate "Veteran" Jakarta Prof. Dr. Med. dr. Frans Santosa, SpJP, FIHA explained, after the presentation of the vision and mission was completed, his party would also hold a closed senate meeting and select three names to become chancellor candidates and take part in the election process in November 2018.

As in ceremonial events in general, the event sequence was filled with the Indonesia Raya song, a national defense march followed by prayers and remarks as well as opening remarks by the Chairperson of the UPNVJ Senate. As well as reading the rules for conveying the vision, mission and work program of the prospective chancellor delivered by the Secretary of the Senate UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Dr. Titin Pramiyati, S.KOM, M.Sc.
