HumasUPNVJ - Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held a Group Discussion Forum which took place at the UPNVJ Campus Gd. General Sudirman Lt.II Nusantara I, Tuesday 26 February 2019.

Present at the discussion were the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Head of LP2M, Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Deans, Director General for Development of Disadvantaged Regions, Deputy for Training, Research and Development of BKKBN, Director of Promotion of the Ministry of Health, BAPPEDA Kab. Lebak and Pandeglang, Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Public Health Experts (IAKMI) and Chair of the Indonesian Public Health Association and Education.

The purpose of holding this event is that Lebak Regency and Pandeglang Regency are two regencies out of 122 regencies that have been designated as development locations for underdeveloped areas in 2015 – 2019 as stated in Presidential Regulation Number 13/2015. As a manifestation of the vision and mission of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta which is a Higher Education with a State Defense identity, it has played an active role in supporting the program through the implementation of community service programs and real work lectures that have been going on since 2015. However, these efforts will not run smoothly. optimally without the support and cooperation of all related parties.

On the other hand, higher education institutions are also required to innovate and make breakthroughs in the implementation of each research and community service program through the use of technology and communication that can be accessed by the community.
