WAREK II: 6 Changes To Improve UPNVJ

UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) carries out a routine monthly flag ceremony with the WAREK II ceremony supervisor Dr. Prasetyo Hadi, SE., MM., CFMP Monday, 18/0212019 at the Dr. ceremony field. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo UPNVJ.

Prasetyo Hadi conveyed the Chancellor's remarks, that there were several things to improve UPNVJ. Among them are the Academic Sector, the Education Sector, the Research Sector, the Service Sector, the General and Financial Sector, and the Student Affairs Sector. he said

In the academic field related to the management of the tridarma of higher education within the UPN ":Veteran" Jakarta environment, currently repairs and improvements have been made in earnest, planned, integrated, directed, in the fields of education, research and community service.

The education sector at UPNVJ aims to produce graduates who have the competitiveness of at least 10 (ten) main skills required in the industrial era 4.0. For this reason, improvements have been made to include, setting academic competency standards for course teachers, determining androgogic competency for teaching lecturers, developing and standardizing University Compulsory Course content (MKWU), updating e-learning, implementing certificates accompanying diplomas (SKPI), updating academic administration standards starting from improving the achievement system to building an educational information system, simplifying the process of increasing academic positions and lecturer ranks, and establishing a learning development center, drafting the concept of implementing the values of State Defense and building an enriched learning environment, scientific and friendly.

In the field of research, the aim is to produce national or international publications in reputable journals with sources of funding dominated by external sources (lit which have marketability). For this reason, efforts to improve include four dimensions, namely structure, culture, format, and connector. These four dimensions emerged in the form of changes and the formation of a new structure for LPPM by appointing four central heads, making a grand integrated research design starting from the university to the study program.

In the service sector, the main target of community service carried out by UPNVJ members has a clear track record in improving community welfare. Changes in the management of semuloa community service are sporadic, unstructured, switching capital for community service based on the roadmap and strategic plans of the assisted villages/cities obtained from the results of research/potential mapping.

The general and financial sector will continue to improve the services provided to students, lecturers, staff and the public as the main program. For this reason, efforts to implement a PIKIR-based work culture are continued by carrying out employee capacity building programs in the form of managerial aspect assessments for echelon 3 and 4. Computer training for staff, workshops attended by resource persons from KPPN, Kemenristekdikti and conducting excellent and ethical service training. In addition, various efforts to change the culture continue to be carried out with the declaration of Go Green, no smoking areas, and no littering areas.

In addition, the student affairs sector has a target to make UPNVJ students have soft skills in accordance with the demands of industry 4.0. students are currently facilitated to develop their interests and talents, not only to become bookworms, students need to allocate time to organize, have various extra and intra activities while still prioritizing their coursework.
