HumasUPNVJ - The UPNVJ Student Regiment Unit (Menwa) held a National Defense National Seminar with the theme "Defending the Country in a Millennial Perspective in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0". The National Seminar that was held was one of a series of events in commemoration of the 2019 Anniversary of the 2019 VII UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Student Unit Regiment which took place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, 4th Floor, Jenderal Soedirman Building UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (30/04/ 2019).

The event began with remarks from the Menwa unit commander, Azmi Ubaidillah and also remarks from the Menwa supervisor, M. Ikhsan Amar, S GZ, M.Kes. in his remarks, he thanked all the committee who had worked well together to organize this seminar and also thanked the invited guests and participants who took the time to attend.

The event then continued with remarks and opening remarks from the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs who represented the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm in his speech, he said "As a State Defense campus, we really have to focus on the current condition of the State. In the past, for many years it seemed, I lived even though no one ever compared the problems of our country's ideology. But nowadays, on the contrary, there are lots of opinions about state ideology that are popping up, especially on social media. So with this problem it will definitely have a bad impact, moreover what is being attacked is our general system, namely Pancasila. he said.

Apart from that, he also advised all invited guests and participants attending this National Seminar to understand the material that will be presented by the Governor of Lemhanas so that we are all more aware and more confident and in totality to advance the nation together.

This National Defense National Seminar invited the Main Speaker, namely Lt. Gen. Agus Widjojo (Governor of the National Defense Institute). The material he conveyed was about how to protect our Unitary Republic of Indonesia from differences of opinion and being able to do something positive as a form of defending our country against Indonesia. He also advised "Under any circumstances everything returns to each individual, whether or not it is possible to remain united to defend the country". he said

The event ended with a question and answer session and a group photo.
