HumasUPNVJ - In order to increase the capacity of Indonesia's young generation for UPN "Veteran" Jakarta students. Bank Indonesia (BI) provided scholarships to 50 selected undergraduate students from the UPNVJ Faculty of Economics and Business. The awarding of this scholarship was held at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Tuesday (14/05/19).

The awarding of the scholarship, which was carried out directly by Trisno Nugroho, Deputy Head of BI Representative, was also attended by the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Chancellor Jakarta State University, Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, as well as academics from the Faculty of Economics and Business. In this case UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati said " BI's commitment to education in Indonesia has long been to help Indonesian education, and thank God UPNVJ was able to pass 50 students from FEB UPNVJ to receive scholarships from BI. It's the same with UPNVJ's vision, one of which is to have a spirit of defending the country, " he said.

The Chancellor also expressed his hope "Hopefully these selected students are able to dedicate themselves as figures who can be examples and pioneers of defending the country who love the country. Moreover, this UPNVJ graduate is able to compete with other graduates out there, I also hope that students who qualify can continue with better provisions later and be able to score other achievements and become the best graduates of UPNVJ in the future, "he hoped.

Not only that, Trisno Nugroho Deputy Head of BI Representative said " UPNVJ is like home for me, this is because here I see extraordinary mutual support between students and their university. While I was in college, there were only a few students who were able to receive scholarships but how lucky are the children of UPNVJ and UNJ who have had more opportunities than I did before and we will provide programs and training for the children we give from Bank Indonesia, so it's not only scholarships but many positive activities that can build good character, "he said.

Trisno Nugroho also expressed his hope that the children receiving scholarships from BI could be successful now and in the future. Can use this opportunity well, because education is one of the most important things to change our country so that it can be more advanced.
