HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Halmi Mahfudh, M.Sc sent off 18 (Eighteen) Student Delegates consisting of 4 girls and 14 men leaving for Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam to take part in the 2019 National Student Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an Championship (MTQ MN) 2019, release event located in front of the Gd Lobby. General Sudirman UPN Veteran Jakarta, Friday (26/07/19).

In his remarks, the Chancellor expressed his gratitude for UPN Veteran Jakarta for releasing 18 khafilah students who were accompanied by mentors to take part in the MTQ MN 2109 championship in Aceh for the next ten days. He further said that the preparations that had been made previously could be the provision there to win "That the preparations that have been made over the past two months are expected to be able to provide enthusiasm and additional knowledge to win competitions and become first place and not be afraid to face competitors - international competitors ” he said

The Chancellor also added " Hopefully the targets can be achieved because it is not only for institutions but for students in particular and it becomes a portfolio record for students to be added value " he said.

The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Halim Mahfuhd, M.Sc. conveyed his hope " I hope that the 18 students will have the fighting spirit as champions and whatever the jury's decision will be, they must keep their spirits high, " he said.
