Dance Competition: "Millennial Era, Love Culture, Ready to Work"

On Saturday, September 28 2019, the Jakarta Veteran Dance Student Activity Unit carried out one of the 2019 STVJ activity programs, namely the Dance Competition with the theme "Millennial Era, Love Culture, Ready to Work" which is located in the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Rector's Parking Lot Pondok Labu. The implementation of the 2019 STVJ Dance Comprtition activities starts at 06.30 WIB for re-registration of participants until 16.30 WIB. The Dance Competition activity is a creative event for young people that combines various kinds of dances to become competent, interesting entertainment. Through the Dance Competition, the next generation of the nation which is the millennial generation can provide works and develop their own talents in art. Besides that, through Dance Competition, you can train your own potential and know the body agility of the Dance participants.

The forms of Dance Competition activities are Traditional Dance Competitions and Modern Dance Competitions at the JABODETABEK level where registration for each competition category is open to the public (there is no limit to the level of education or dance studio to be able to take part in Dance Competition activities) with one of the age requirements for potential participants being five fifteen years. Seeing the potential of the nation's next generation which is increasingly diverse, especially in the field of dance and the alignment of themes with the increasingly up-to-date developments, it is hoped that the millennial generation can further develop their talents in the field of dance by not leaving or forgetting Indonesian culture and are ready to work at the international level with potential, basic skills, as well as cultural diversity.

This activity was enlivened by UKM UBV and AKS1 Project and supported by UKM MC, UKM UFO, and MPM UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The 2019 STVJ Dance Competition activities are also sponsored by Wardah, Go Bag, Ajaib, Wowbid, and PT. Leminvo Mitra Indonesia. Then the media partners for this event include UKM ASPIRASI, UBV Radio, @infolomba, @eventpelajar, @lomba_mahasiswa, @mediaevent_, @event_lomba, and @lombamahasiswa.id. The judges for the 2019 STVJ Dance Competition came from professional dancers, who are very competent in the field of dance, namely Mia Amaliyah Dyah, Michael Tenda, and Achadia Suci Dea S.

The number of participants in the 2019 STVJ Dance Competition was 29 teams. Where 21 teams came from Traditional Dance Competition participants and 8 teams came from Modern Dance Competition participants. The winners of the Traditional Dance Competition, including the Margasari Dance Studio won 1st place, then Kencana Mas won 2nd place, and Growani won 3rd place. Then for the winners of the Modern Dance Competition, including Biefindc as the first winner, then the second winner was won by Prodigious, and the third winner was won by the JDA Community. Each winner received a trophy, cash, certificate and Wardah goodie bag. All contestants were very enthusiastic and creative in performing their best dances.
