In order to fulfill the invitation of the Central Information Commission (KI) to conduct a ranking or KI Award, the Acting Deputy Chancellor for student affairs & cooperation at UPN Veteran Jakarta Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ., MH. immediately attended to deliver a presentation at the Mercure Hotel, Jakarta on Tuesday (15/10).

Ria as the main supervisor explained how the Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) works within UPNVJ in order to support and oversee information disclosure in accordance with Law No. 14/2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure. In her presentation, Ria said that the UPNVJ PPID was already running and there were innovations to be developed in the future.

"So the issue of information disclosure and transparency is already under way, the public can access UPNVJ information on the official UPNVJ website and the UPNVJ PPID website," said Ria Maria Theresa.

Ria also added that 2 years after PPID was established, there are new innovations that are currently available and some are still in the development stage, such as the addition of complete information features, ease of display on smartphones, use of social media. The strategy undertaken is intense socialization regarding the information media used by the university, creating an integrated data/documentation system, forming a special team that handles university information & documentation.

Ria Maria hopes that with the performance of the UPNVJ PPID which is quite good, the Central IC will be able to provide a good assessment and in the future it will work better in conveying information and will collaborate with PPID of other agencies.
