UPNVJ Holds RAKER Quality Improvement in Academic, Student Affairs and Cooperation Fields

Depok, In order to improve the quality of academics, student affairs and cooperation especially in fulfilling the standards of 9 institutional/study accreditation forms, UPNVJ held a discussion meeting in preparing quality standard quality instruments which were held at The Margo Hotel, Depok from 4 to 6 November 2019.

This activity was attended by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Karo AKPK and staff, Deputy Deans for Academic Affairs, and Deputy Deans for Student Affairs. Apart from that, the RAKER also attended speakers from the Directorate General of Science and Technology Institutions at the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, namely Mr. R. Purwanto Subroto, Ph.D, as Head of Higher Education Cooperation Sub Directorate Directorate General of Higher Education Science and Technology Institutions.

Rakor_margo_hotel_(2).jpeg In his presentation, Purwanto strengthened the challenges of domestic and foreign cooperation, especially facilitating students in pursuing joint degree and double degree study pathways which have been carried out by many universities in Indonesia through educational collaborations with other universities, especially abroad.

Furthermore, the Vice Deans discussed and explained strategies and work programs in an effort to improve the quality of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta graduates. FIKES Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Heri Iswanto said in his presentation that the opportunity for UPNVJ to achieve the expected target is very large. "To achieve our target, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs prepared several strategies including regulation, acceleration and facilities," he said when interviewed by the public relations team.

Related to regulations other than academic achievement students are also required to have non-academic achievements, while the regulations are mandatory for extracurricular membership, extracurricular competition activities, there are rewards / compensation for winners, rewards for coaches, and an academic dispensation letter will be prepared.

The target for the future is that there will be more and more students, students will get certificates accompanying diplomas so as to produce graduates who have value and character.” he said.
