HumasUPNVJ - Research is one of the implementations of the functions of Higher Education in providing practical contributions to society to help provide alternative solutions to the dynamics of society in the digitalization era in the form of ideas, models, designs and technology. The UPN Veteran Jakarta Health Research Ethics Commission (KEPK) as one of the units that has the obligation to contribute to facilitate in increasing competence in conducting research in accordance with the correct ethical procedures organizes Health Research Ethics Training for Thesis Supervisors held in Nusantara 1 Meeting Room, lt. 2 UPNVJ, Friday (24/20)
KEPK UPNVJ presented two resource persons representing the Indonesian Forum for Ethical Review Committees in the Asian and Western Pacific ( FERCAP ), Dr. Magdarina and Himawan Rizki. S. Sos which was attended by approximately 40 trainees.
This activity was opened by the remarks of Prof. Guritno as chairman of KEPK UPNVJ, "The Ethics Committee is not to impede student graduation, but to help students. There have been many developments that we can see from 2014, a lot of research has entered and the research is of very high quality. Hopefully with this activity we can help students do research well. God willing, ethics will be more advanced and qualified to support students to be of higher quality." he said
Meanwhile, UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati opened the training activity by giving directions to all participants who attended, "One of those who play an important role in student research is the supervising lecturer, therefore we require all supervising lecturers, especially FK and FIKES, to obtain training certificates that implemented by KEPK, because this activity is very good for supporting student research. We demand students to be competent, so the purpose of this activity is for us to have competent lecturers as well.” he said
It is hoped that this activity can provide many benefits for the participating lecturers, especially for students.
