Fully Supporting Student Achievement, Chancellor Holds a Meeting with UPNVJ SEMA Pathway Achievement Students

HumasUPNVJ - In order to encourage and improve student achievement, the Chancellor held a face-to-face meeting with students who entered the achievement track at the implementation of the 2019 SEMA UPN Veteran Jakarta. The meeting was held in the archipelago 1 meeting room, on Friday (13/03/20).

It was recorded that 46 students entered UPN Veteran Jakarta through the achievement path at the 2019 SEMA, and today the Chancellor is accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Head of the AKPK Bureau, Chair of LPPM, and Chair of LP3M directly conduct briefings with the aim of encouraging and motivating students to continue contributed to the achievements of UPN Veteran Jakarta.

In this discussion, the Chancellor said that UPN Veteran Jakarta would fully support any creativity students have to contribute to UPNVJ's achievements. He also conveyed 10 competencies that students must prepare and possess before graduating. The 10 competencies are Solving of Complex Problems, Critical Thinking, Creativity, People Management, Coordination with Others, Emotional Intelligence, Analysis and Decision-making, Service Orientation, Negotiation, Cognitive Flexibility.

"You must have these 10 soft skills, don't wait until you graduate because this is a provision for you to be able to compete in today's industrial world," explained Erna Hernawati.

The Chancellor also reminded students to be active in any organization available at UPN Veteran Jakarta to build their competencies.

Not only that, Head of LPPM Retno Dyah Kusumastuti and Chair of LP3M Satria Yudhia also expressed their support if students who have creativity in the field of research and community service can report their concepts directly so that they are followed up and fully supported.

With this meeting, the Chancellor hopes that the students who pass the UPNVJ SEMA achievement track in the near future will be able to return to make achievements for UPN Veteran Jakarta.
