“We need to know that there are four characteristics of Hypnosis communication, including: Instructive; involves a series of procedural actions, Participative: Requires subject involvement in undergoing hypnosis procedures (including induction), Repetitive; involves repeating messages especially in indirect hypnosis, imaginative: the patient imagines situations that can help him enter the induction stage. Apart from that there are also several communication theories related to Hypnosis, such as the Conditioning theory (SR), it is explained that Hypnosis is a theory that discusses human behavior that is learned and can be controlled (Thorndike). There is also the theory of Communication Accommodation, explaining that Hypnosis is self-acceptance which can be increased by accommodation in the form of convergence & divergence. Nonviolent Communication Theory, explains that communicating on the basis of affection can increase empathy and social acceptance. This opens up opportunities for direct hypnosis/ conversational (Rossenberg), as well as several other communication theories.” Obviously Anther Venus

In addition, Anter Venus explains that Hypnosis is essentially a communication activity. Involves expression and perception of messages, "In expression, Hypnosis requires the delivery of messages in all stages carried out ( indirect Hypnosis), verbal messages delivered are carried out in a certain pattern, and involve dimensions of content and relationships. Meanwhile, from the perspective of perception, the hypnotist needs to equate the perception regarding the procedure and suggestions to be implanted and the understanding of the subject receiving the message determines the success of hypnosis. he continued

According to him, Communication Science is still very behind in studying the phenomenon of Hypnosis, "The Research and Utilization of Hypnosis Tradition is still very low in the Communication Science discipline, even though as Hypnosis Expert Milton Erikson said: Hypnosis is a way to communicate ideas ".
