Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Public Relations Team of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta ( UPNVJ ) received a visit from representatives of students and teachers of Cikal Serpong High School today, Tuesday, November 12, 2024. This visit aims to provide information regarding the new student admission process (Penamru) at UPNVJ, as well as to get to know more about the study programs offered by UPNVJ.
The group consisting of twelve grade 12 students and five accompanying teachers were welcomed directly by the UPNVJ Penmaru Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho. In the meeting that took place at the UPNVJ Diplomacy Lab, Fajar Nugrroho accompanied by UPNVJ Public Relations, Disa Prihantini gave a complete presentation on the various admission pathways, faculties, departments and study programs available, as well as the facilities available at UPNVJ.
"UPNVJ has various programs that can be tailored to students' interests and talents, such as study programs in the fields of social sciences, engineering, economics, and health sciences. We hope that students from SMA Cikal Serpong can use this information to make the right decision in choosing a state university," said Disa.
In addition, Fajar also explained the selection process, scholarships, and opportunities for Cikal Serpong High School students to continue their studies at UPNVJ in detail to all participants present.
In addition to the presentation on penmaru, a question and answer session was also part of the activity. The students of SMA Cikal Serpong showed great interest in several leading study programs at UPNVJ, such as the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Business and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. They were also interested in learning more about supporting learning facilities such as laboratories, libraries, and extracurricular activities on campus.
Vice Principal of Cikal Serpong High School, Christine Ullyana, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given to her students to get information directly from UPNVJ.
"We really appreciate UPNVJ's steps in opening up opportunities for our students to get to know more about this college. Hopefully the information obtained can help them in making the right decision to continue their education to a higher level," he said.
In addition, the Vice Deans from several faculty representatives were also present, namely the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation and Information Systems of the Faculty of Medicine, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation and Information Systems of the Faculty of Economics and Business to provide various information materials containing information about study programs, facilities, and new student registration schedules, as well as detailed information related to each faculty.
This visit is expected to strengthen the relationship between UPNVJ and SMA Cikal Serpong, as well as make it easier for students to choose a college that suits their academic goals. UPNVJ itself continues to be committed to reaching more prospective students throughout Indonesia through various socialization activities and information related to higher education. (*s)
