UPNVJ PPID Technical Meeting with the Central Information Commission

HumasUPNVJ - In order to Strengthen Public Information Management for PPID UPN Veteran Jakarta, PPID UPNVJ implementing members held a socialization meeting on the topic, "Public Information Management Regulations and Policies and Public Information Management Techniques, especially at PTN" through a zoom meeting, Thursday, July 16 2020.

This activity presented two speakers from the Central Information Commission (KIP), including Hendra J. Kede as Deputy Chair of the Central Information Commission and Agus Wijayanto Nugroho as Central Information Commission Expert.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ was also present, "I hope that things we don't know about can be discussed in this discussion. I hope that the UPNVJ PPID can run optimally according to applicable standards. Because the PPID level is very important for the value of publications on our campus too.” Erna said in her speech

Hendra J Kede as Deputy Chair of the Indonesian Central Information Commission, explained the history of the development of human rights, regarding the declaration which emphasized the importance of independence, equality and brotherhood. The basic principle is that the human right of the people is to know all state information and documents. This is information disclosure and basically open legal status. In accordance with the elucidation of UU KIP Article 4, it is regulated that every citizen has the right to access information to develop himself and his environment.

In his presentation, apart from Hendra, Agus Wijayanto also explained a lot about university-level PPID technical issues and explained about several articles, one of which was the Rights of Public Bodies.
