KJMU Phase Two Has Been Opened, Come Check Out the Procedures

HumasUPNVJ - Launching on the Bisnis.com page, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Education Office opened registration for Phase 22 Jakarta Excellent Student Card recipients (KJMU) for 2020.

Quoted from the account of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, Sunday (20/9/2020), KJMU is educational assistance for students who are economically disadvantaged and have good academic achievements with a large assistance of IDR 9 million per semester.

This funding assistance is access and opens up opportunities to study in tertiary institutions. Also, improving the quality of prospective/student education to completion and on time.

Another goal of the KJMU is to motivate students to improve achievement and be competitive.

The target of KJMU is:

a. KJP Plus students and alumni who are economically disadvantaged and pass the PTN selection

b. PTN students who are economically disadvantaged

KJMU requirements

Register at a PTN and be declared to have passed the selection through the National State University Entrance Selection (SNMPTN), State University Joint Entrance Selection (SBMTPTN), and PTN Independent Selection.

1. Doing KJMU data collection

2. Students and alumni who will continue on to PTN/PTS submit an application for assistance with the cost of improving the quality of education to the Governor through SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent school of origin.

3. An application for assistance with the cost of improving the quality of education is accompanied by the following documents:

a. Letter of application for assistance in improving the quality of education.

b. A statement letter with a stamp duty of IDR 6,000

c. Letter of Compliance with the Use of Educational Quality Improvement Cost Assistance

d. Photocopy of Identity Card (KTP);

e. Photocopy of Family Card;

f. Proof of registration/test number at PTN/PTS entrance selection

For students and alumni holding KJP at the previous level of education, also complete the following additional documents:

a. KJP photocopy

b. Photocopy of KJP Savings Book

Quoting from the Kompas.com page, the KJMU program also wants to motivate students in terms of achieving achievements and building a competitive spirit and improving the quality of student education so that it can be completed on time.

Student advantage

Students who get KJMU will receive funds of IDR 9,000,000 per semester. These funds can be used to finance the implementation of education managed by State Universities (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS). Not only that, the funds provided by the government can be used for personal support costs for living expenses assistance. Students can use it to buy books, nutritious food, transportation, supplies or equipment, as well as other personal support costs.

Simplification of the data collection mechanism

In the second stage of data collection for KJMU recipients, the DKI Jakarta Education Office simplified the mechanism. The following are the stages.

1. September 18-30 2020 Prospective recipients register themselves at school.

2 . On 8-15 October 2020, the Disdik announced the data for prospective recipients that had been matched with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Integrated Data through schools.

3. October 16-19 2020 DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will verify the completeness of the candidate recipient files.

4. October 20-22 2020 The final list of KJMU recipients is determined.
