HumasUPNVJ - International Joint Conference On Science and Technology (IJCST) is an international conference event, this activity is a routine activity carried out by 13 members of a consortium of Indonesian higher education institutions which have previously been held in Bali and Surabaya.

This year, Makassar State University (UNM) was chosen by the consortium as the host, with the theme "Educational transformation to increase superior human resources towards advanced Indonesia". This event brought together many universities in Indonesia including UPN Veteran Jakarta. UPNVJ is a member of the consortium along with 12 other universities who on this occasion also had the opportunity to be present online and participate in the signing of the MoU which in this case was carried out directly by the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta Erna Hernawati, on Friday (16/10/20).

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, previously the event was planned to be offline, this year IJCST was held in a blended system and lasted for two days from October 16 to October 17 2020. The purpose of this activity is as a forum for the development of inter and interdisciplinary scientific professionals Science.

IJCST 2020 also presented 8 main speakers from 6 countries namely Dr. James Cullin (Canada), Prof Dr. Darulihsan bin Abdul Hamid & Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ram Al Jaffri Saad (Malaysia), Nadirsyah Hosen (Australia), Assoc. Prof. Kenji Arakawa (Japan), Larry Lay, Ph.D (Singapore) and Prof. Dr. Haedar Akib, M.Si (Indonesia).

Apart from the main speakers, there are 209 articles that will be presented in parallel on the second day. This session will be divided into two parts, namely the International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST) and the International Conference on Social Science (ICSS).
