HumasUPNVJ - Through Society 5.0, artificial intelligence that pays attention to the human side will transform millions of data collected via the internet in all areas of life. The young generation of Indonesia, in this case, plays a role as a society that applies the roadmap . The younger generation must be ready to face the Era of Society 5.0 in Indonesia by utilizing existing Human Resources (HR) because domestic HR is no less qualified than foreign HR, it is also hoped that with Society 5.0 it can develop human resources in Indonesia, seeing that there are still gaps HR in various fields. Society 5.0 as a complement to the Industrial Revolution 4.0, needs to be directed at the role of the younger generation for the progress of the Indonesian nation in the future. The younger generation has creative and inspiring behavior, tends to build their work patterns with strong interpersonal skills. Creative, innovative and productive young generations need to be enriched from an early age with the soft skills contained in Society 5.0. Of course, this complete ability is expected to succeed in winning the competition in the disruptive era and the world without borders. For this reason, the UPN Veterans Jakarta Student Executive Board (BEM UPNVJ) held a National Webinar entitled "The Role of the Young Generation as Agents of Change in Reaching Era Society 5.0" (1/12/20). This webinar is a series of activities for the Jakarta Veterans Student Intellectual Week 2020 (PIMVJ 2020).
This activity is the highlight of the event as well as the closing of the 2020 PIMVJ series of events. By presenting speakers and observers of the industrial revolution or Era Society 5.0, it is hoped that students involved in this activity will not stop contributing to their nation and country, but will continue to be motivated and have the enthusiasm to achieve Era Society 5.0. This activity was carried out online using video conference media which was attended by three speakers who were experts in their respective fields, including; Dr. Miguna Astuti - UPNVJ Lecturer discusses Creative Digital Innovation Opportunities in Current Times, Yuliandre Darwis, M.Mass.Comm, Ph.D - Commissioner of the Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) discusses Growing Innovation in the Creative Economy World, Rizky Emirdhani Utama - Government Relations Specialist at PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) discussed the Implementation of the Role of Young People in Facing Change Towards the Era of Society 5.0 and led by moderator Disa Prihantini as UPNVJ Public Relations, this activity was attended by approximately 200 participants consisting of UPNVJ students and students from several another campus.
The targets to be achieved include increasing student understanding of the meaning and importance of digital innovation today, developing student potential and innovation in the world of the creative economy, and of course increasing student understanding in dealing with changes towards the Era of Society 5.0.
The activity takes place from 09:00 to 15:00 and ends with a discussion session.
