Dean of FK UPNVJ Virtually Inaugurates Young Doctors Batch of 64

HumasUPNVJ - The Faculty of Medicine UPN Veterans Jakarta is again carrying out virtual "Senate Open Session of the Faculty of Medicine" in the context of the 64th batch of Doctors' Inauguration and Oath in 2021 with a total of 8 doctors, which was attended by the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor, IDI South Jakarta Representative, Dean Faculty of Medicine and UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine Senate (20/1)

The activity began with remarks from Dr. dr. H. Taufiq Fredrik Pasiak, MKes, M,Pd.I as the dean of FK UPNVJ, "I am on behalf of the leadership and all of the Academic Community of FK UP Vetera Jakarta and also on behalf of myself, congratulate you, for the success of brothers and sisters in completing Academic Education at Medical Profession Study Program at the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine. This is your first step in becoming a doctor in Indonesia. You have completed the Medical Profession Education with good grades with an average GPA of 3.46 and the highest GPA of 3.69. dr. Siska Yolanda. This proud result is the result of the hard work of students, parents, teaching staff of UPNVJ FK and supervising doctors at UPNVJ FK partner teaching hospitals. Efforts to continue to improve facilities and infrastructure continue to be made, in order to achieve the vision of UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine to become a leading FK at the national level. said Taufiq

"We are still working on efforts to improve the quality of the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine and the obstacle why the UPN Faculty of Medicine has not received an A accreditation is because the ratio of student lecturers is not ideal in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education and the lack of research products from lecturers who are also the impact of from the failure to achieve the ideal student-lecturer ratio”. he continued

"We also don't forget to thank you for the moral, material and prayer support that you always give to your sons and daughters, so that today they can be sworn in and appointed as doctors. Let us guide our sons and daughters to become strong and brave human beings. Humans who are proud, humble, honest and have good empathy in serving their patients. Humans who have a clear heart with sky-high ideals, who love their homeland and have strong national insights. May Allah SWT always bless our children. Also to the lecturers and clinical supervisors from UPNVJ FK partner hospitals, we express our highest appreciation and gratitude for their hard work and dedication in guiding UPNVJ FK students so they get the results they are today. dr. Rian mourbas as the young doctor's representative, thanked FK UPNVJ on behalf of his other colleagues, "I congratulate my colleagues who have succeeded at this point where they are currently becoming doctors and have also gone through many learnings starting from pre-clinical period until reaching a bachelor's degree in medicine and then entering the COAS period or clinical period which lasts for 22 months or more. There are so many memories that we have passed during our education and until now we have finally passed the exam, namely the UKMPPD exam. A message for all of us where this oath is a new beginning for our journey to become a doctor and we have more and more obligations and responsibilities with this title. Of course, we also have to work sincerely to become an extension of Allah SWT for our patients in the future and also don't forget that doctors are a noble profession and have a long life in nature," said Dr. Rian.

Overall, the number of doctors who have been sworn in by FK UPNVJ to date is 2,715 doctors and all of them have worked, both in Government Agencies, TNI, Polri and the private sector.
